Daniel Rowe ~ Baroque Cello
Daniel Rowe studied cello with David Finckel and Jerry Grossman at S.U.N.Y, Purchase, and with George Neikrug as a Dean's Scholar at Boston University, where he studied Baroque cello with the late Fortunato Arico. He has performed as principal cellist with The Arcadia Players and Millenial Artists, and as guest artist with Triomphe de L'Amour. He has worked with the Handel and Haydn Society, the Chorus Pro Musica and the Andover Chorale Society. He has appeared a number of times with Newton Baroque and can be heard on WGBH with this ensemble. He is a member of Renaissonics, a Renaissance dance and chamber music ensemble.

As a "modern" cellist, he was a member of the Ravel Quartet, which was in residence at the Bridgeport Symphony in Bridgeport, Connecticut. He has played and contracted for the Huntington Theater Company and the American Repertory Theatre. Daniel also plays electric cello as a member of the Guy Ford acoustic rock band, where his improvisational skills can be enjoyed in numerous locations on the North Shore. He holds a master's degree in Computer Science from U Mass, Boston, and has worked for a number of successful startup software companies.
